These values are repeatedly used to describe me: Integrity, Commitment, Loyalty & Flexibility.
My working career started as an tradesman and it was in Nelson as a 20 year old that I bought my first property. Some years later having successfully invested in Nelson’s booming land development market I went on to complete an electronics engineering degree. I then joined the NZ Army as an officer seeing active service in both Afghanistan and Timor Leste. During my military career I have also part owned a variety of businesses and in 2013, after 15 years service, I commenced employment as a civilian with the NZ Defence Force’s commercial services organisation, primarily employed as a commercial contracts negotiator.
The opportunity to become the Mortgage Link Wellington licensee in 2015 came up as I was completing the requirements for registration as a financial advisor. Recognising that opportunities which align my values with my personality don’t come up every day I seized the opportunity with both hands and look forward to providing comprehensive advice to clients so that they can meet their goals and aspirations.
I’m a member of the Professional Advisors Association (PAA), registered with the Financial Service Provisors Registrar (FSPR) and belong to a Disputes Resolution Service.
In quiet times you’ll find me travelling in our VW camper, walking the tracks throughout NZ, and spending quality time with friends and family.
